A day in polytech KK

Duhh...hampir satu hari aku tersadai di politeknik KK kelmarin. Alkisahnya aku dengan rela hati accompanying my elder sister (along with her family) to the campus for her son registration. Sambil tu mahu ambil kesempatanlah juga meninjau-ninjau suasana di polytech tersebut (maklumlah selama ini hanya main limpas-limpas saja as I've no obvious purpose going in there). Setelah meredah hujan ribut yang kerap melanda KK sejak dua tiga hari ini maka sampailah juga ke destinasi yang dituju. Atukoi!....punyalah banyak kereta. Since I'm the driver maka penatlah juga berpusing-pusing mencari tempat parking. At last terserempaklah juga dengan kereta yang sedang drive out (kalau tak silap ada dua buah kereta lagi dari arah bertentangan cuba berebut tempat parking tersebut..tapi nasib baik aku champion...terus dapat...marah mengkali tu driver...hehe jangan saja dia kasih puncture tyre). Sampai di tempat pendaftaran memang ramai tahap gabanlah ibubapa, penjaga, pengiring bakal pelajar sedang menunggu di ruang menunggu khas. Ada yang terlelap dan ada juga yang sedang menguap-nguap. After my nephew mendaki tangga 'menuju puncak' ke tempat pendaftaran di tingkat atas we then joined the 'waiting' group. We later found out why some of them sampai terlelap. The registration process took hours to complete! I think the problem is the new intakes are not segregated for registration according to their course of studies or faculties (which is normally done in other institutes) instead they're registered as one group and need to get numbers for their turns. They're probably 2000 new intakes and my nephew's no? 1836! (four digit lagi tu!). Kelihatan juga ada beberapa bakal pelajar disuruh balik gara-gara memakai colarless t-shirt dan berambut panjang (these guys probably thought they're attending AF6 audition!). Yang lucunya sambil kami termenguap-nguap menunggu tiba-tiba saja my nephew (somewhere in the registration hall) SMS my sister...."Mak..kasi standby pemotong kuku!" (huh!? hehe). But then he didn't turn up to get it. Masa menunggu tu kerap terdengar announcement dari PA system meminta kereta-kereta yang menghalang jalan mengalihkan kereta mereka. Lazimnya announcement tersebut berbunyi "diminta pemilik kereta bernombor SAA bla bla...mengalihkan keretanya segera kerana menghalang" I mean...hanya nombor kereta saja disebut, tapi tiba-tiba keluar announcement "diminta kereta jenama VIOS bernombor SAA dot dot..." (motif tiba-tiba jenama VIOS disebut sekali?). Jokingly, saya pun bangun tergesa-gesa in response to the announcement! (kah! kah! actually i'm driving my brother-in-law's Proton). Banyaklah mata trailing me to my destination...tandas! So after waiting 5 - 6 hours my nephew finally got his registration completed. What a relief...and here are some photos I snapped,

From top right (clock wise). Parents penuh bangga menyaksikan anak mereka menaiki tangga 'menuju puncak'. The gigantic field with 4 football fields (the hostels are at the background). My nephew's dorm...two occupants per unit...hmm...how nice (time aku di kampus dulu 4 org satu bilik dapat room mate yang kuat menggoruk (snoaring) pula tu) . The future Computer Engineer....kunun (hopefully, with God willing) and his naughty little brother who keeps us entertained througout the ordeal. The view from the dorm...straight to the Kg Gayang resettlement...arrgg! The main administrative building, quite a huge complex. Part of the new intakes dengan bagasi dan bantal busyuk durang. The welcoming banner (muka orang politik juga...taruhlah muka Siti Nurhalizakah!)

And for some real interesting update, here's Ebi's pic yang aku curi dari Ebi FC's website. I think this pic is scanned from the latest issue of Intrend mag (July issue with Sarimah on the cover). No doubt Ebi looks extra fantastic in this pose (the hairdo really suits him). Having looked on the pic with the so-called "elite ambience" it's kinda hard to imagine he doesn't have electricity supply at his house...oopss! Hehe *LOL*...renungan TRAGIS siapa pula ni? Minta puji pandai-pandai pi superimpose pic Justine Timberlake! Kalau warna kulit tu sama nda apalah juga...
