Ungkapan "meet me at Hachiko" selalu digunakan.

Trus jadi popular tu klu jadi.

A simple story derived from some part of my early life : I was about 12 years old and it was a school holiday. I decided to go home and visit my grandparents in another kampung. Transportation was rare in my kampung so my siblings - age 11 and 9 - and I opt to walk the 4km route before we reach the small town where we then took a public transport. Earlier when we were about to start our journey from home, I remembered we had trouble making Doraemon stay, so we were escorted by him. It was a safe journey, and finally we reached town and waved our goodbyes to Doraemon before we took the public transport at the bustop. I looked back, and I saw him running towards the moving bus trying to follow us, the usual thing he would do when Daddy drove off every day from home. He will stop running, I thought. And he did. I forgot about Doraemon for a while. Few days after that (lupa da brapa hari), we were moving towards KK in a car and we had to passed that same town. I couldn't describe how I felt when I saw Doraemon was still there sitting tall with his eyes looking at every passing cars. Waiting faithfully. I remembered telling Daddy once, that Doraemon will be a very good man if he is not a dog.

Wow..what a touching story! While reading through I thought it's a cat...but a dog named Doraemon! So looks like we also have one faithful dog down here. I wonder what happen to the dog now.

He died of old age, but his body couldn't be retrieved. He was very sick before that, and he just disappeared without a trace. Daddy said he went deep into the jungle and never came back. He also told me that a good dog would never want to trouble his master by his own death. Thus, he went into the jungle to die - alone. I was imagining how he dragged himself with his last might and energy till he reached the farthest spot he could able to (Pheww...).
