Their Story:Brothers Ji and Aja met Karuk and Jim at the Sabah Institute of Arts. It was love at first “sound”. They knew they had something special together and didn’t waste any time getting the band up and running. One of the early problems however was the name…. it had to be something cool and catchy. Someone suggested a mash up of all their names, so it was a toss up between Jiajakarukjim and JIAJA. Thank goodness they chose well.
