Konsert 6 AF6: At the class of her own

Kembali mencarut! Tiada yang istimewa pada part pembukaan kali ini (AC sekadar berlagu syair). Part pengenalan pelajar-pelajar....sampin Stanly terlondeh...hehe. Nasib baik sedar kalau tidak habis terpijak terus melabuk. Wajarlah juga ditampilkan pasangan pengantin AF (ada siapa-siapa terkejut?). No doubt this is something special memandangkan kedua-dua mempelai adalah bekas pelajar AF1. Sekurang-kurangnya usaha AF mengkenen-kenenkan pelajar selama ini berbaloi lah juga. Congrats tu Khai and Rosma...so who'll be the next couple? Apahal Mila menyanyi suara macam tidak stabil...not as flawless as before. Siapa boleh jawab?

On to the performances.

Stanly - Kata (Hazami) C+

Satu usaha yang baik dari Stanly menyampaikan sebuah lagu dance music, walaupun kesimpulannya agak kurang berkesan. Dari segi gerak geri tarian, beliau kena perlu banyak pertingkatkan lagi (he's not groovy enough). Dari sudut suara, boleh dikatakan agak baiklah juga cuma lagu R & B sebegini yang memerlukan trilling skill (kemahiran ala-ala mebengkokkan suara) masih belum dapat digapai dengan sempurna oleh Stanly.

Alif - Ketahuan (Matta) B

Sebuah lagu yang bolehlah dianggap mudah dari segi melodi dan tempoh tetapi memerlukan attitude vokal yang kuat. Vocally Alif delivered this song very well, not much of a mistake. But I have to agree with Adlin's remarks that Alif presents the same facial expression, gestures and movement most of the time.

Nadia – Rama Rama (Ella) B
She sang very well in tune but as usual her voice sound very hard and aggressive. She delivered almost a uniform tone from start to end. Anyhow the performance is better than last week.

Toi – Tak Bisakah (Peter Pan) D+
This is another easy song. I never see Toi practise with guitar in Diary AF and suddenly he has to perform with a guitar. Despite the fact that he’s a multi-instrument musician he didn’t look comfortable with the unconventional guitar. Toi lost his lyrics, lost his focus, lost the facial expression…in short Toi lost everything in his performance this time

Nubhan - Generasiku (OAG) D
Macam menyesal pula aku puji lebih-lebih vokal tone Nubhan sedap. Sedap tu memang sedap tapi sejak konsert 3,4,5,dan yang keenam ni...vokal dia banyak berterabur. Masih lemah dalam mengawal pernafasan. Ibarat sebuah kereta yang sekejap sekejap tersasar dari lorong yang sepatutnya. Kalau berada pada lorong yang betul pun pergerakan kereta terhentak-hentak, tak smooth. Lebih kurang macam begitulah situasi suara Nubhan. Gerak geri beliau pun nampak macam katun...kaku semacam...not much groove and attitude..."sejibi" Stanly.

Stacy - Don't Speak (No Doubt) A+

Uinna...A+ lagi (alamak terlebih sudah!). Konsep 'mengamuk' sambil tendang-tendang kusyen tu is very creative (kudos to those who came out with such idea). Err...tapi part yang baca tiga helai surat berwarna-warni tu pelik sikit (masih pakai surat kah sekarang ni? Or are those telephone bills?*LOL*). Anyway forget about those drama sketches...they're not her idea. Vocal wise, I'm unanimous with Adnan. Very good phrasing and vocal delivery. Komen Adlin part genggam tangan tu..I object! Chewah! (ini kes mengarut mencari kesilapan-kesilapan kecil lah ni). I'm just in the opinion that this is her best performance thus far in AF. Once again Stacy presented such an entertaining and classy performance! Penyelamat konsert bah dia ni.

Riz – Seribu Tahun (Imran Ajmain) B
This is a beautiful yet quite a hard song to sing. Having watched Riz practise this song in Diary AF I thought he could easily grasp it. Riz has all the right ingredients to nail this song. Unfortunately it turned out to be not as I expected. Pitching wise was OK! Cuma pernafasan beliau macam turbulent sikit I can even hear him gasping in the word “lama” (la..*gasping*..ma). The falsetto part wasn’t solid and sharp enough. Ada pula ter-accident suara Riz on this part…hehe. Hmm…has he just awoken from sleep and has not done enough vocal warms up? Sounds like it.

Rina - Ular (Anita Sarawak) B
Except for part yang terlupa lirik, Rina did well too. “Penyampaian kosong' yang Ogy maksudkan probably due to Rina focusing so much on memorizing the lyrics. On some verses, she naturally sounded like Anita Sarawak too. Adnan and Adlin basically don’t have any idea what to comment…but for the sake of commenting durang redah sajalah…:)

My choice: Stacy followed by Rina, Riz, Alif, Nadia, Stanly, Nubhan and Toi

I was quite taken aback when AC read out Rina's name. My expectation was Toi. Rina should be at least in top four. So this is a kejutan for me since the early kejutan of Khai and Rosma sudah awal-awal pecah telur.
