Gangstarz 2

Gangstarz 2 is in its fourth episode last week. Two groups had been kicked out, PZG from Thailand (I've never heard a group singing so bad as this one) and the all-female group from Singapore who called themselves Faith. I think the talents these season are not as good as last season. The setting/stage looks like the cheap version of American Idol Top 24's stage. And what's with those crowds wearing Hotlink t-shirts in front of the stage (are they Hotlink promoters?).

Ain't they look like Sabahans..hehe. Unfortunately the judges don't like their song choice hence gave them low rating. Ajai (dengan style ala gangster dia) selamba said their performance is no good and the audience booed him (he deserves to be booed). Three stars from Ajai, three stars from the fat judge and two stars from Syafinas (who never sing and dance...probably she was too jealous!).

Stacy menceritakan kepada Kosmo Online kisah disebalik beliau tidak menduduki SPM dan berazam akan menduduki peperiksaan itu tahun depan.

Berakhirnya penantian 5 tahun

Maka berakhirlah AF Musim Ke 6 semalam dengan penuh gaya, mutu dan keunggulan!..:). Inilah kali pertama sejak saya mengikuti program AF pelajar pilihan yang ditujukan Afundi berjaya menjadi juara. Puasnya hati...hanya Tuhan saja yang tahu!..:) Five-year mission (minus AF1) finally accomplished. Probably there will be no more Afundi from me next year...we'll see!

On to the show. A group of dancers did the opening act. I noticed a guy from E-Voke then I saw Stacy's brother...sah penari-penari dari Sabah...then Adam keluar...confirmed!. Ada pula sesi demonstrasi menyanyi dari pengritik...hehe (hah tengok akak nyanyi..this is the right way to sing ok! adik-adik!). By the way the arrival in limousine baik ditiadakan langsung.

Sebelum mencarut performance finalists, disiarkan dulu iklan tak berbayar yang diperhebatkan oleh Guitar Hero (jual gelang tak main ok!)

TOI - CINTA ZULAIKHA (MAWI)
Hmm...seperti biasa vocal tone tak menyerlah, sekadar mengangkat tune. Lemah semacam persembahan Toi (I think next time they shouldn't take a married man - 3 bulan beb!) Hanya juri yang memilih dia ni semasa ujibakat saja yang puji bagai nak rak!. Kehadiran Marsha (eh Marsha kah tu?) dan Noni pun tidak dapat membantu. Motif tiba-tiba isteri dia muncul secara mengejut di akhir lagu (kalau awal lagu kan best!). C+

RIZ - HANYA SANDIWARA (LAGU BARU)
I like this song especially bila masuk the jazzy part in the chorus. Riz handled it with ease. Memang sesuai dengan suara beliau. Cuma perlu diperkemaskan sedikit-sedikit saja but he will do it during studio recording. Excellent. A

NADIA - KALUT LAGI MENGARUT LAGU BARU)
Lagu ni pun best juga walaupun tajuk lagu memang pelik. Vokal nadia fit like a glove with this song. Olahan bagus, persembahan juga bagus. A

NUBHAN - BUKAN DI SINI (SOFAZ)
Maintain ada masalah pernafasan...forever and ever lah nampak gayanya. Masih kedengaran 'bum note'. Not quite a good vocal performance. B

STACY - ATAS NAMA CINTA (ROSSA)

Except for the lower-than-the-original key, I’ve no problem with her version. It’s a smart vocal delivery from her. Still need some improvement on her gesture though, But listening to the audio alone enough to send a chill on my spine. Good job. Very nice dress too. A

Err...I don't like the idea they reveal the results to the finalists.

Round 2 - Ting! Ting!

TOI – TERPALING INDAH (LAGU BARU)
Again not a good performance but again terus dipuji bagai nak rak oleh juri yang memilih beliau masa ujibakat. Suara lemah. Sedikit kedengaran gegaran menggigil. I'm with Ning when she threw out the idea to sing the repeated lines in high note. The song is not as good as other new songs given to the his fellow finalists but then this is a second song choice. Poor Toi sudah jatuh (vocal tone tak menyerlah) ditimpa tangga pula (lagu tak best). D+

NUBHAN - AKU ADA UNTUKMU (LAGU BARU)
Wow..this is the best new song in that final. Love it. The melody progresses from low to high and the lyrics is so romantically poetic "cinta Shahjan dan Mumtaz". Nubhan delivered it superbly. Suara dikontrol habis untuk mengelak angsa-angsa terbebas dari kandang..hehe. Cuma cara dia mengatur langkah tu nampak macam katun sikit. Walaupun nyanyian live dia bagus tapi not enjoyable enough to my ear sebab masih kedengaran aspek-aspek seorang penyanyi yang dalam keadaan tertekan. I can't wait for the studio version of this single. Well done. A

NADIA - AKU LEBIH TAHU (MILA)
Not as good as her first performance. Her energy went low (was she upset after finding out her position?). I was hoping she would do better than Mila but that's not the case. B

RIZ – 11 JANUARI (GIGI)
Another excellent vocal performance from Riz. Jarang betul pelajar diberikan tugasan dengan lagu-lagu yang ada big note at the ending macam lagu ni. A+

AKU STACY – STACY (LAGU BARU)

Lagu ini boleh mencabar populariti lagu Ular - Anita Sarawak di radio, kalau diberikan susunan muzik yang lebih power. Anyway Stacy did another good job in this song walaupun ramai yang cakap tidak dapat tangkap lirik yang dituturkan (but then I have similar problem with lagu Ular. Baca lirik barulah faham apa yang si penyanyi cakap). Fuiyoo macam seksi pula pakaian dia. A

Persembahan selingan

Zahid did a good job. Mila 95% good (perlukah nama Mila dicanang-canangkan bila yang menang di Bulgaria ialah lagu dan bukannya kategori penyanyi terbaik?...whatever!). Persembahan Heal The World? Mmm...bolehlah...walaupun tiada harmoni, jiwa dan penghayatan. Glad they didn't do the harmony sebab gerenti akan sumbang.

More than just a (big) talent

I just thought it's a kind of rare sight to see a star like David Archuleta calls up his friend's name who is sitting among the audience "Oh magosh! Ashley! My friend from Murray High!"...just another proof how humble he is...:). Kalau saya mengkali sekadar lambai-lambai tangan ja (terus kunun sumbung-sumbung...kekek...habislah siapa jadi kawan saya...nda kana panggil nama).

I'm impressed on how he answers all questions...brilliant...very matured

I thought I'm the only one who can't stand watching at my ownself in video...rupa-rupanya ada juga orang yang berpenyakit sama..:) Uiina macam ada persamaan pula kami ni...kuikui!

Saya pasti ramai di kalangan kita ada menerima SMS seperti di bawah ini. I received mine on the 15 May from a friend yang ketakutan baca SMS tersebut and quickly sent it to me. A few days later the police made press statement for public to ignore such rumors. Actually I received another one saying that the culprit had been nabbed (siap dengan nombor telefon si pesalah lagi). But I didn't come across any report about it on paper (maybe I missed it). Hmm...I wonder why people still dare to spread rumors when it is easy to detect anonymous sender nowadays.

Yang kelakar pula, yesterday I received another SMS with same style but different text...


The full text reads...

"Jika anda menerima panggilan telefon yang bernombor 3010, 7205 & nombor yang berwarna seperti warna bahar, lihing, montoku dll, jangan dijawap panggilan itu sebab sekumpulan orang Dusun/Kadazan pada masa ini sedang menguji ilmu kekuatan lihing ini. Battle of the Davids

LOL…was that American Idol finale or boxing championship! Kalau boxing sah, sah David kicik kena knockout..:). The boxing metaphor is absolutely funny. Wow…this time they have it at the 7,000 capacity Nokia Theatre (new theatre kah ni?) instead of the usual Kodak Theatre.

One of the interesting facts in AI this season is there are three contestants sharing one name - David. And out of the three, two of them are fighting for the title in the grand finale.

So which David will win the title?

Based on the final show, D.A wins the heart of the judges; at one glance the judges had crowned him as the champion. My personal choice? Hmm...honestly i'm spoiled for choice, in fact I can say all of the top twelve this season are equally talented. Jason Castro for instance is interesting to watch. Despite lacking the acrobatic in his voice I always have fun watching his performance. Who can forget his rendition of Halleluiah and Somewhere over the Rainbow armed only with a ukulele. But coming down to these two finalists, I'm kinda go for D.A Walaupun vocal tone dia ni mengingatkan saya pada beberapa penyanyi barat yang sedia ada tapi cara nyanyian beliau ada sedikit kelainan the moment he trills, bend or twist his voice. It's like listening to Josh Groban or Russel Hitchcock (Air Supply) singing ala Mariah Carey...hehe! In addition, this boy also sings with full of emotion...straight from the heart. His rendition of Imagine is so touching. He has an interesting character as well…innately humble.

D.C pula? No doubt this fellow has big vocal range and energetic voice. He knows how to make full use of the resonance system when it comes to high and big notes. He fully opens his mouth and shapes up his nose for the sake of precise vocal delivery (nasib baik hidung dan gigi dia cantik…kekekek). The only setback I think, saya, tidak nampak perbezaan ketara antara beliau dengan penyanyi-penyanyi rock sedia ada contohnya Chris Daughtery (Fifth Season top 4) and many more. Kadang-kadang sakit juga mata tengok senyuman sinis dia ni..:)

I really like to see D.A to win but won’t be surprised if D.C takes the title (most online polls are in favour of him).

Whoever wins..yang penting David Arumugam juga tetap di hati…:D

Orketra UMS Music Line

Orkestra UMS Music Line di bawah pimpinan Prof Madya Abdul Jamal Abdul Hamid telah mengiringi persembahan pentas sempena pertandingan Sugandoi Kaamatan peringkat Bandaraya Kota Kinabalu pada hari Jumaat lepas (16 May). Ahli-ahli orkestra terdiri daripada remaja-remaja yang mengikuti kursus apresiasi musik peringkat sijil di UMS dan rata-ratanya berasal dari Pedalaman (e.g. Tambunan, Keningau, Tenom). I'm not sure if this gonna be the official orchestra from the higher institution.

I was so curious to find out how they perform and rushed to the venue. Macam biasalah siap dengan video cam. Tapi memandangkan cuaca time tu teruk sekali, ribut, hujan semacam maka lintang pukang jugalah cameraman. So ini sajalah klip-klip video yang sempat dirakam semasa mereka mengiringi persembahan Rubisah (My Starz finalist), an unknown female singer and Donna Masidah the KK Idol 2008 winner.

Overall the orchestra performance is not that bad (although sometimes it sounds more like a school brass band to me). Kadangkala tu kedengaran juga bunyi woodwind instruments (trumpet, flute etc) agak kurang solid. Ada pula part pemain flute (kebanyakannya sumandak) tersilap-silap masuk...hehe! But they're still young (I guess 18 - 19 years old) and still have much time and room for improvement.

Memandangkan hujan begitu mencemburui kehadiran kami di sana maka terpaksalah bergegas pulang awal. Tidak sempat pun tengok pertandingan Sugandoi.

And the finalists are...

It's the final elimination week. Some dubbed it as a critical and important concert, when it comes to finding out who will make it to the final. So it's not the concert i was concerned much but rather the announcement of the finalists. The audience was so noisy...macam dalam pasar. Kalau sorak untuk semua pelajar tanpa bias tak apalah juga, but then they shouted only to those they like...erggh! Cara teriak pun macam menyemak saja. I call it "Sorakan Semak". Oklah no carut-carut...let's go straight to the performances

Tapi sebelum tu kan gangguan iklan.."anak ko tu Nawi?...A'ah!...Apa kerjanya?...jual gelang...mmmm (muka merendah diri tahap gaban)"

Stacy– Beat It (Michael Jackson)


This is the second time Stacy was assigned to sing a song by male artiste (the first being Pelesit Kota by Amy). This is indeed a big and difficult song to perform. All I can say she did very well. Her dancing was good but maybe this is the first time I caught her not perfectly in synchronized with the dancers. I sighted what seems to be a couple of wrong steps. Vocally, it’s not much of a problem except for the part “defeat it” – she delivered it in falsetto! Hence it sounds hardly audible and less energetic (is MJ voice too high for a female to sing this part in falsetto?). I guess it’s not a bad idea if she just sang it loudly ala Nadia..:). There are a couple of lyrics problems as well but not noticeable. But judging by the level of difficulty of this song (and the fact that she had never heard of it…) she has done an extremely good job. Still an entertaining performance though B+

Toi – Kau Yang Bernama Seri (Handy Black)
Honestly this is the first time I heard of this song. Seperti biasa lagu-lagu sentimental balada macam ni memerlukan penghayatan yang kuat dari segi emosi dan lontaran vokal. Toi almost achieved what this song wanted. Vocally, he sang it quite flawlessly and managed to deliver the high note smoothly. Not much of a glitch. Personally I don’t have problem with Toi’s singing. It’s just that his vocal tone doesn’t have the expected quality… it’s not ‘stylish’ or ‘fashionable’ enough for a singer. B+

Stanly - Kerana (Alleycats)
Mmm…I think it’s not a bad idea to give a classical treatment to this song and sing it ala Il Divo. Unfortunately the assignment requires Stanly to sing it exactly like David Arumugam. Selain daripada tona suara yang berbeza dengan penyanyi asal dan part musical bridge dipotong, yang selainnya ‘sejibik’. So no extra creativiti dalam persembahan Stanly. Suara OK tidaklah banyak sumbang sangat cuma ada kedengaran part suara beliau lemah semacam. C

Nadia – Lelaki Buaya Darat (Ratu)
Yupp the outfit didn’t really match with this song. Minus the outfit, she delivered it well. Vocally, it’s the best that night. B+

Riz - Rock Around The Clock (Bill Haley)
Ini lagu rock and roll kah lagu jazz? Keliru sikit…hehe. Macam tidak kena dengan art direction. Outfit Riz macam rocker 50-an, tapi konsep muzik and tarian macam ada jazz sikit and then based on pakaian penari latar Riz looks really out of place. Seperti rocker yang tersesat masuk ke dalam ballroom dance hall. Suara semput, phrasing kurang tepat, tersalah kira pun ada ten, eleven and ten, tarian..alahai! ...I think worst than last week. C+

Nubhan - Tapi Bukan Aku (Kerispatih)
Mungkin kalau dibuat kajian, inilah part terkucil suara paling ketara dalam sejarah AF…hehe. I thought he’s going to grasp this song (since this is one of his favourites) unfortunately he’s not (overconfident? Maybe). Mmmm…I don’t quite like his performance. Not much of improvement from him. Banyak vocal delivery yang lemah. and the highlight is the terkucil part. It’s good if he can project some powerful gema during high notes but looks like I have to continue dreaming (taaapun). C

Toi & Stanly– Lagu Jiwa Lagu Cinta (Mawi & M.Nasir)
Good performance, siap ada gerak tari ala-ala boria..:). They managed to handle the harmony well. It’s a very good collaboration from them. A

Riz & Nadia– Endless Love (Lionel Richie/Diana Ross)
When I checked the lyrics site on AF6 official website they stated the singers as Luther Vandross/Diana Ross…Lionel Richie lah! Apa pula Luther Vandross. Hmm…not a bad duet but the singing is just not smooth. A bit of hesitant terutama part Nadia (dia takut kot sebab Riz macam kemaruk habis…sudahlah menyanyi macam di Taman Larangan). Ada vocal connection antar mereka tapi macam not interacting very well…sort of a force interaction. B

Stacy & Nubhan– Ada Cinta (Acha Septriasa / Irwansyah)

BEST! Kalau Riz dan Nadia menyanyi di Taman Larangan yang ini pula di Taman Syurgawi. What a nice setting, props and outfits. GOOSEBUMP! BEST!! Love it! A+

The promotional banner for his debut album displayed at Donggongon comes with a tagline "The first Kadazandusun Pop/R&B singer"...:) . His name is Terry Peter. He just released a full studio album called Melting Pot. The funny thing is when I first saw the banner with the word 'melting pot' I thought of another opening of a new restaurant in Donggongon...."alamak promosi album rupanya".

“Pada mulanya, saya dihubungi seorang lelaki yang memberitahu bosnya ingin berjumpa saya. Tapi apabila lelaki itu memberitahu sejumlah bayaran yang saya akan terima hasil pertemuan itu, saya berasa takut dan terus memutuskan talian telefon bimbit.

“Sejak kejadian itu, saya memang berasa takut untuk menjawab panggilan telefon orang tidak dikenali terutama daripada orang kenamaan,” katanya.

Bagaimanapun, Marsha atau nama sebenarnya Marsha Milan Londoh menganggap apa yang berlaku itu sebahagian asam garam dunia seni.

“Terus terang, saya sanggup bekerja keras siang dan malam daripada mendapat wang dengan cara mudah seperti itu. “Kejadian yang berlaku itu tidak sedikit pun mematahkan semangat saya untuk terus menempatkan nama di persada seni tanah air,” katanya.

Buat masa ini, Marsha berkata, fokusnya hanya pada kerjaya seni.Justeru, apabila tersebar gosip mengenai dirinya dibuang keluarga kerana hubungan cinta tidak direstui dengan Kefli AF3, Marsha berkata, dia berharap pihak yang menyebarkan gosip itu menghentikannya dengan segera.

“Saya sendiri tidak tahu menahu mengenai gosip itu.

“Apa yang penting, hubungan saya dan keluarga tetap utuh seperti dulu. Saya juga pulang ke kampung untuk bertemu keluarga ketika menjayakan persembahan bersama Felix sempena Pesta Menuai untuk RTM

“Saya terpaksa menerangkan perkara sebenar pada keluarga supaya tidak terpengaruh dengan cerita dan tohmahan seperti itu.


“Saya sedar memang ada segelintir orang yang ingin menjatuhkan nama baik seseorang artis dengan menyebarkan cerita seperti itu. Saya juga perlu lebih berhati-hati dalam mengatur langkah,” katanya.

Sejak gosip itu tersebar, kata Marsha, hubungannya dengan Kefli juga renggang.

“Saya terpaksa menjarakkan hubungan dengan Kefli kerana tidak ingin mengeruhkan keadaan.

“Kami juga sudah jarang berjumpa. Kami masih rapat lagi tapi sekadar kawan biasa saja. Buat masa ini, biarlah saya serahkan soal jodoh pada Tuhan,” katanya.

Sekalipun belum ada album, tawaran menjayakan persembahan makan malam korporat tetap tidak putus diterima anak kelahiran Tamparuli, Sabah ini.

“Saya lebih suka melihat setiap kejadian itu dari sudut yang positif.

Justeru, apabila ramai bertanya bila saya akan muncul dengan album, jawapan saya mudah saja, iaitu ada orang terpaksa menunggu 10 tahun baru dapat keluar album,” katanya. Marsha berkata, setakat ini, lima lagu sudah siap untuk dimuatkan dalam albumnya nanti.

“Setakat ini, pembikinan album berkonsep campuran itu sudah siap 60 peratus. Maklumlah, Ajai sibuk dengan pembikinan albumnya, Best Of Ajai.

“Saya juga berduet dengannya lagu Aku Cinta Aku Rindu (versi unplugged) dan ada beberapa lagu lagi dalam albumnya itu.

“Apa yang penting, Ajai tahu lagu yang sesuai dengan vokal saya dan faham tone suara saya. Saya harapkan album ini akan menjadi hit nanti. Menurut Ajai, album ini dijangka siap tahun ini juga,” katanya.

Bagaimanapun, kata Marsha, semuanya bergantung pada keadaan ekonomi negara nanti.

“Saya difahamkan pihak pengurusan Maestro, tahun ini tidak bagus untuk pasaran album tempatan,” katanya.

Dalam pada itu, kerjaya lakonan Marsha juga berjalan lancar.

“Orang mungkin tidak nampak kerjaya nyanyian saya kerana tidak ada album baru.Tapi dengan berlakon sekurang-kurangnya saya masih wujud di persada seni tempatan

“Sementara tunggu album, apa salahnya kembangkan bakat lakonan sedia ada supaya orang tidak lupakan saya,” katanya.

Marsha ditemui sempena pelancaran drama online pertama Kerana Karina 2 di Kafe Bijou, Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur, baru-baru ini. Teraju utama Kerana Karina 2 ini berkata, wataknya pada musim kedua ini cukup mencabar dan lebih berkembang.

“Apabila dapat skrip Karina 2, saya akui susah untuk melakonkannya. Saya juga perlu mengkaji skrip berkenaan lebih mendalam lagi.

“Musim pertama dulu, Karina mungkin nampak masih naif lagi. Bagaimanapun, pada musim kedua, Karina lebih jahat dan banyak babak menangis dan marah-marah.

“Suara saya sengau pada musim baru ini kerana demam ketika itu,” katanya.

Pada masa sama, Marsha mengakui dia beruntung kerana pelakon lebih berpengalaman seperti Sazzy Falak, Zizan Nin dan Norman Hakim tidak kedekut ilmu membantunya menjiwai watak Karina dengan baik.

Selain Karina 2, Marsha juga menjadi hos untuk program Gaya Ratu untuk RTM.

“Gaya Ratu akan disiarkan Jun atau Julai nanti. Saya berpeluang menemu bual pereka fesyen terkenal tanah air dalam program ini.

“Selain nyanyian dan lakonan, bidang pengacaraan juga cabang seni yang saya minati. Apa salahnya saya merebut apa saja tawaran yang datang, demi misi menjadi anak seni versatil,” katanya.

Nadia tercorot?

Yeah…back to the glitzy stage. The Mother’s Day announcement was very noble, but I wonder why the students are not given bonus songs with the theme “mother”. There are many songs about mother kan…macam lagu Spice Girl (momma…I Love you!), lagu Exist Untuk Mu Ibu and the list goes on. Aishah is still in her elements but I detected a couple of unstable tone. And the show continued with some emotional scene, the students delivered flowers to their respective mothers down stage while Stacy and Stanly standing dumbfounded on stage. I wonder if any of the student ambil kesempatan asking their mothers “Mak aku di kedudukan berapa tadi?” haha!

Sembunyi (Misha+Andy)/Ada Apa Dengan Cinta (Melly Goeslow feat Eric)
It looks to me macam Stacy, Stanly and Riz saja yang banyak nyanyi...the rest macam menyanyi satu dua line saja. Overall not a bad effort.

Toi - Kasih Berduka (M Osman)
Lagu Pop Yeh Yeh ni, lazimnya tidaklah susah sangat. The melody is not so complicated. One shouldn’t struggle hard to accomplish his task singing this song. And that’s exactly what happened to Toi. He cruised easily with this song. Maybe he struggled more with the choreography than the singing. Easy song, fun and cheeky choreography, less mistakes…a good choice to open the concert. B+

Nadia - Karma (Cokelat)
I thought I was the only one who noticed her ‘drunken’ gesture…hehe. Maybe it’s too conspicuous until Ogy herself used the word mabuk. Anyway as usual Nadia has no problem with pitching and she sang this song well in tune. Cuma lontaran vokal beliau saja yang terus menampilkan kelemahan. Dia ni macam orang yang memandu, terus-terus masuk gear empat dan lompat ke gear lima. She uses only these two gears. Mungkin ramai sudah yang tersedar akan ‘kekerasan’ dan ‘kegarauan’ suara beliau (but she delivered just the correct voice while practising with Cikgu Siti in Diari AF…hmm..don’t know what happen…nervous mungkin) C+

Stanly - Naluri Lelaki (Samsons)
In my humble opinion Stanly is getting better vocally. He’s beginning to be able to control his voice and sound less shaky (in fact I realised this when he sang ‘Footloose’). For this particular song, he sounds too loud and powerful. Is it good? Yes when it comes to clear pronunciations but at the same time he appears as over-sang it. It’s not a bad performance; he did act like a desperate guy approaching some girls down the stage (mmm…I didn’t quite get Ogy’s comments on him). B

Riz - Laskar Cinta (Dewa)
Was it just my ear? Is something wrong with the sound system? Is the band playing the wrong notes? These are just some questions I had when Riz hit the first note. I can’t believe it’s Riz I’m listening to. If this is his way to demonstrate how much he dislikes the song…it worked! Hehe. I’m not sure if its off-tune, off-key…the fact is some verses sound just awkward and not very pleasant to my ears. Although vocally he sort of lost connection with this song, he’s not totally lost it in the art direction. The outfit quite match and it’s not a bad effort either when it comes to his gestures and facial expression. C

Nubhan - Hanya Engkau Yang Mampu (Aizat)
Hmm…this guy still needs to work harder on applying the combination of the middle/low torso breathing (considered as the best possible technique for singing). It appears as Nubhan only applied the high torso breathing or known as “the breath of exhaustion” that involves only the shoulder and upper chest. This type of breathing is commonly seen on runners who had just run 1,500 meters race and definitely not conducive to effective vocalism. It leads to tension in necks and throat muscles and unsteady tone production. Back to his performance, he started off very well until the verse right after the chorus. It’s interesting to see how he tried very hard to grip this song with every effort he can. Sometimes you can see he just lost his grip…:). Well did he nail it? Almost! C+

Stacy-Gembira Hidup Ini (Farah AF2)


I thought I have a little problem with the lower part of her outfit (the top dressing was simply elegant though). But never mind, so long that she can move freely and comfortably. In fact those are just the right words to describe Stacy’s performance…comfortable and free. I like to see the part when she skips I guess that’s her trademark. She had it all, the voice, energy, showmanship, strong stage present and...err...her mother….hehe. Another superb performance! A+ (alamak bias sudah! Hehe..)

Bola-bola Api (Nana+Achik)/Tak Tahu Antara Dua (Farah + Adam)
Memang comel pun persembahan durang. Cuma part note yang pelajar perempuan macam tidak sampai tu spoil sikit.

Tiada penyingkiran

Arrghh...kalau tahu tiada penyingkiran nda payah undi berhabisan. Rupa-rupanya Nadia berada di kedudukan tercorot (terasa pula macam Astro cuba selamatkan Nadia). Did you notice she was very tense while the result was being announced? Memang terkejut juga bila tahu Nadia tercorot. I thought the girls are already in safe situation unfortunately that's not the case. Surprisingly Nubhan jumps from bottom to top of the list! The crying scene plus singing the most current hit song probably the main factors his fans voting bagai nak rak. Any possibility that Alif's fans diverted their attention to Nubhan or Aizat's fans lend their helping hand as well? Stacy pula jatuh tangga ketiga (alamak terkurang sudah!) So if you want to see her as the winner it's time to doubled or tripled your supports.

Harapan baru buat Jestie

So Jestie Alexius is now berada di bawah naungan label Skyline. This is not a big surprise if you understand the marketing situation of those albums produced independently in Sabah...:). In fact this is a welcoming move.

Pokok plastik

Kepada anda yang kerap mengguna Jalan Penampang - Papar pasti akan terserempak dengan menara di bawah yang dibina seakan-akan pokok (terletak antara Kg. Potuki dan pintu masuk Kem Lok Kawi - sebelah belakang). Sebenarnya saya sudah perasan 'pokok' tersebut beberapa bulan lepas cuma baru-baru ini saja berpeluang ambil gambar. Sehingga sekarang saya tidak tahu tujuan sebenar menara tersebut, terutama motif disebalik ianya dihias ala-ala pokok. I was trying to get some information, unfortunately no one was around to explain. Bayangkanlah kalau semua pokok asli habis ditebang and for aesthetic reason pokok plastik macam ni pula yang ditanam di hutan...hehe.

At one glance there's nothing wrong with the signboard below. Tapi masa saya terserempak, rasa macam kalakar juga. To me if the restaurant belongs to a genuine muslim, it shouldn't stress something like the second line (below). Secara otomatik the menu should be halal kan! Lainlah kalau restoran tersebut milik non-muslim...:)

This guy is simply amazing. I really wish he wins AI. For the show last night it looked as if he and Syesha took it seriously. Although I want to see Mr. Cook in the final I wouldn't be surprised if Archuletta and Syesha are the finalists. The contestants probably spoiled for choice since there were too many great songs to choose from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame collections. Hmmm...I wonder why Jason Castro didn't pick songs from the group Smokey or Bee Gees.

When I first joined Google Adsense, I didn't put much hope of getting paid. Sudahlah earning ciput semacam, the payment procedure is sooo complicated. Based on the old payment system, you'll get almost nothing at the end, after deducting transaction fees here and there. Not to mention it was time consuming as well. At one glance it appears as impossible to receive payment. I was like saying "forget about it" but continue embedding their scripts, as my simple way to thank them for providing this blogsite in addition that I'll also be able to get updated on some latest websites (whatever happen over these two reasons I consider a bonus). Then suddenly...jeng...jeng...they introduce payment through the hassle-free Western Union Bank...it's kind of what you see is what you get. Tidaklah banyak...sikit ja...tapi terlari-lari lah juga pergi bank...:=D (ala...durang kasi ambil sajalah kan!). Next payment will be in two years from now..*LOL*
