The ex-Mamut Copper Mine : Damage done

So after years of exploiting the resources, what do we get? Instead of kaya raya we get a tailings dam, acidic river and a couple of environmental problems..bravo...clap! clap! clap!


If i'm not mistaken, there was a proposal few years back to turn the ex-mine into a water theme park. Is it still on?...or the water was found to acidic...terhakis-hakis nanti kulit pelancong.

This catastrophic should serve as a big lesson to the government, hence they should stop dreaming of exploiting the huge coal reserve in Danum Valley next.
