Superstar Tuavon ke final AJL

Macam satu kewajipan pula menonton Muzik Muzik separuh akhir setiap tahun dan seterusnya AJL, walaupun kadang-kadang keputusan para juri yang ‘maha arif’ membuatkan kita bengang. Dalam Separuh Akhir Pop Rock semalam tiga buah lagu (dari kumpulan MUH, Sofaz dan Elyana) yang saya ramal, terpilih ke peringkat akhir. Sebuah lagu lagi, Rimas (Fabulous Cat) gagal. Saya ramal empat lagu sahaja, lagu yang kelima I thought mungkin antara Lagu Mila (Aku Pun Tahu) dan Fiq. But too bad Mila has problem controlling her voice, so I reluctantly judged the song out. Fiq pula walaupun best tapi yang peliknya macam mana lagu berentak slow rock/balada sesat ke kategori Pop Rock, so harapan macam tipis. Aku Stacy, in my humble opinion is a pretty simple song and not as strong as the other 11 songs, but then Superstar Tuavon really showed her elements, very energetic. Instead of ‘kontrol ayu’ she focused controlling her voice. Despite the demanding choreography, she delivered the song almost in CD quality (macam miming…hehe). In short Stacy made the song, written by less famous names, sounds and looks wonderful. However since AJL is all about song composition, I was still in doubt and what a relief to hear her name called out. Estranged’s Yang Pernah, on the other hand, didn’t come across my mind at all but what to do, sudah rezeki pengantin baru :)

Very much improved,kurang sudah unnecessary movement. She moves only when she needs to. Vocal very much in tune..excellentE!
Pengumuman mengejut lagu Dingin as the sixth ballad selected to final just make me question and question the credibility of the ‘juri-juri yang maha arif’. It’s a good song indeed, compared to Hanya Di Mercu unfortunately Ziana didn’t perform it flawlessly. But still…campur tolak, campur tolak…Dingin deserves to be in the final. Dan apa pula motif ‘juri-juri yang maha arif’ angkat kedua-dua lagu by Faizal Tahir ke final? Almost everyone predicts that he’ll win big this season but personally I’d like to see Meet Uncle Hussin grab the grand title. Apa pun yang penting Stacy (hopefully will win persembahan terbaik), Ayu (walaupun questionable), Julfikar (hope his creative song will win Etnik kreatif) and errm…kumpulan laki si Velvet (walaupun aku nda berapa favour “Yang Pernah”) akan beraksi di final.
